Position Title: Desktop Support Specialist – Level 1

POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate is someone with strong customer service and troubleshooting skills to resolve all technical issues for our clients. The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for supporting all end users relating to hardware and software, computer applications, and LAN related issues. Day to day responsibilities consist of: Installing, testing, maintaining and troubleshooting end user workstations and interrelated hardware and software, Active Directory user management, troubleshooting of mobile devices, Escalating issues accordingly, and maintaining communication with customers and Technical teams.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Taking initial telephone or email inquiries and troubleshooting and managing relatively simple hardware, software or network problems
  • Creating new Group Policy Objects and assigning users to them
  • Responding to and resolving desktop, server, and network issues
  • Provide first level support in VMWARE, HyperV and Backup and Replication
  • Provide 1st level client support through our help desk ticketing system.
  • Recognizing and escalating more difficult problems to Tier 2 support
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple MAC environments, including the windows stack, Active Directory, Exchange in-house and hosted e-mail systems.
  • Managing and Monitoring Active Directory, MS Exchange, DNS, DHCP, BES, Windows Shares, Antivirus and backup servers
  • Use Remote Monitoring tools and call tracking to log and route tickets in a high-call volume environment (e.g. Remedy, and Clarify)
  • Imaging and Deploying Desktops and Laptops for end users
  • Creating and maintaining client-related documentation.
  • Actively participating as a strategic member of the technology team, including participating in team meetings and providing technical support for our managed service clients.
  • Patch Management of Servers and Workstations in Domain (Preferred not required)

QUALIFICATIONS

Pro4ia seeks candidates who are results-oriented and have strong communication and organizational skills.  Desktop Support Specialist – Level 1 must have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows desktop and server level 1 support
  • 2+ years of providing support as a Level 1- Help Desk, Technical Remote Support/ Server, Desktop Support or Systems Administrator providing End User Support and Customer Service
  • Must be able to be both a team player and be able to provide exemplary results while working on projects independently

The following are preferred:

  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Take initiative, and response to time-sensitive situations are essential, along with discretion and good sense in dealing with clients
  • Comp TIA, A+ Computer Specialist Certification (Preferred not required)
  • Microsoft Systems Engineer Certification (Preferred not required)

The Technical Support Engineer demonstrates strong customer service and troubleshooting skills to resolve all technical issues for our clients. The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting all end users relating to hardware and software, computer applications, and LAN related issues.

  • Provides off-site technical support to customers on installations, usage, or maintenance of company products to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications
  • Provide level 2 and 3 support through our help desk ticketing system in time to meet our client obligations.
  • Respond to and resolve advanced level desktop, server, and network issues that have been escalated from level 1 or 2.
  • Support for Microsoft Windows Server, MAC OS, Citrix and VMWare technologies.
  • Support for the Microsoft Windows stack, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Exchange in-house and hosted e-mail systems.
  • The ability to participate effectively in multiple support efforts and provide technical expertise.
  • Create and maintain client-related documentation.
  • Actively participate as a strategic member of the technology team, including participating in team meetings and providing technical support for our managed service clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Pro4ia seeks candidates who are results-oriented and have strong communication and organizational skills.  Technical Support Engineer – Level 2 must have:

  • 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems; MAC OS technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • MCSA Preferred.
  • Advanced level experience with Server, Desktop, and Network support are required.
  • Expert in installing, optimizing, maintaining and securing of Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory Microsoft Exchange (in- house and hosted) environments.
  • Expertise with building and supporting Citrix XenApp and XenServer, VMWare vSphere, and Microsoft Hyper-V technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Team player, ability to work on multiple, concurrent tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Detail oriented and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with entire staff
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Accountability, adaptability, assertiveness, dependability, initiative, and responsiveness are essential.
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to continuously learn (new technologies, client business issues, other job functions, etc.)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Engineer demonstrates strong customer service and troubleshooting skills to resolve all technical issues for our clients. The Senior Engineer will deliver an infrastructure solution that is technically sound, resilient to failure, operationally supportable, and meets the requirements of the business. The ideal candidate will exhibit a high degree of expertise collaborating with MSP and other IS teams to provide a level of agility for the delivery of infrastructure solutions including infrastructure architecture, hands-on build-out and configuration of the infrastructure.

  • MCSA: Server 2012 REQUIRED. MCSE: Server Infrastructure and Private Cloud preferred.
  • Advanced level experience with Server, Desktop, and Network support are required.
  • Expert in installing, optimizing, maintaining and securing of Microsoft Windows Servers, Active Directory Microsoft Exchange (in- house and hosted) environments.
  • Expertise with building and supporting Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare vSphere, Citrix XenApp and XenServer technologies.
  • Must have experience in deploying end to end technical solutions to customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional customer service and phone etiquette skills. Discretion and good sense in dealing with clients.

Position Title: Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter

Location: NY, NY

POSITION SUMMARY

The CAD Operator is responsible for design and drafting of all CAD drawings in a clear and logical manner. Responsibilities also include ensuring all drawings are formatted to company standards. They oversee the preparation of drawings and are mindful of project schedules and due dates with relation to CAD work. They work closely with the CAD Administrator, project engineers and project managers to assure design integrity and contract responsibilities with regards to CAD are met in a timely manner. The AutoCAD Drafter is accountable for the turn-around of drawing mark-ups from field personnel, for the creation of As-Built drawings and the production of architectural contract drawings and specifications for multiple telecommunications projects.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide IT and supporting infrastructure requirements documentation to assist with creation of conceptual designs / IT Cable & Physical Infrastructure Layout / Final Design
  • Provide detailed design drawings which will be utilized in the development of the BOM document
  • At the direction of the Senior Infrastructure Design Consultant, assist with documenting the full infrastructure final design and Bill Of Material packages.
  • Using autocad, assist with developing detailed designs for equipment, cabling and racking based on client requirements.
  • CADD – Use of Computer Aided Design for all design and construction drawings deliverable in both hard copy and CD formats

QUALIFICATIONS

Pro4ia seeks candidates who are results-oriented and have strong communication and organizational skills.  The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Drafter must have:

  • At least one year of CAD experience with concentration in system design/ telecommunications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of security system design, telecommunications, AC/DC electric theory
  • Strong teamwork skills and strong written communications skills are required
  • Strong organizational skills. Must have the ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • Ability to interact effectively across diverse cultures and at all levels
  • Must have at least 2 year of professional experience in wireless telecommunications or infrastructural design environment
  • Associate Degree or higher, with an emphasis on Engineering or Telecommunications
